Prince William eyes Nets cheerleader during Brooklyn game

Prince William caught plenty of on-court action at the Barclays Center - and not all of it was basketball.

The 32-year-old duke of Cambridge appeared mesmerized by one of the Brooklyn Nets cheerleaders as he carried on a conversation with a woman during a break in Monday night's action.

All the while, Kate Middleton, the pregnant duchess of Cambridge, spoke with retired NBA center Dikembe Mutombo as her husband got an eyeful of the team's dancer from their courtside seats.

William's straying glance stayed locked on the entertainment as the interlude came to an end.

He wasn't the only one - snaps of the action caught other men in the crowd eyeing the cheerleaders. Even Mutombo, speaking with a glowing Kate, couldn't help but take a look at the cheerleader as she pranced off the court in a black and white ensemble of hot pants and crop top.

At a different point in the action, its Kate who appears to be checking out a Cavaliers player, taking a long look at forward Lou Amundson's backside as he handled the ball.

After the game, the royal couple met for Cavaliers superstar LeBron James for a photo op. It was James who caused a tizzy when he wrapped his arm around Kate's shoulders during the shoot, an apparent breach of royal protocol that prohibits touching.
