Sacramento Kings vs. Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz travel to the Sleep Train Arena to battle the Sacramento Kings tonight.

The Utah Jazz will be desperate to put a halt to their ugly eight-game skid after falling to the Magic by 98-93 on Friday. Derrick Favors led the way with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Enes Kanter added 16, but still the Jazz weren't good enough to take advantage of a Magic team playing without Nikola Vucevic. Gordon Hayward has been the Jazz's best player all season, but just couldn't get going against the Magic, scoring just nine points despite average 23.7 points in the four games prior to this one. Alec Burks missed his second game because of left shoulder inflammation and isn't expected to be back tonight.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have lost five of their last six overall and are also coming off a loss to the Magic. On Saturday, Darren Collison led the way with 22 points while Jason Thompson and Rudy Gay added 18 and 16 points respectively, but the Kings just faded late in the game without their most important player DeMarcus Cousins who missed his last six games and is expected to miss another 7-10 days with an illness. In his absence Reggie Evans is most likely to receive a bump in minutes which will definitely help their rebounding, but there just aren't many bigs in this league that can replace Cousins' scoring threat.

In ATS trends, the Jazz are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall, while the Kings are 14-6-1 ATS in their last 21 games following a loss and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games.

Head to head, the Jazz are 1-6-1 ATS in the last eight meetings but the Road team is 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine overall.
