Houston restaurant gives all Matts free burgers on October 12

By Will Brinson | NFL Writer

The Houston restaurant scene really, really cares about the Texans. And people named Matt.

Not too long after one burger joint offered a 'Pick Six' burger named in, ahem, honor of Matt Schaub, Schaub threw another pick six, his fifth-straight game with the nightmare toss. To try and get him right, Houston's Little Bitty Burger Barn (pictured above) is helping out all fellow Matts by giving them free burgers on October 12.

'Let's see if we can get rid of the curse for Mr. Schaub,' Jay Hengtgen said in email announcing the promotion to the Houston Chronicle. 'And let's support our Texans.'

Now I'm not entirely sure that feeding a bunch of people named Matt hamburgers is going to save the Texans season or suddenly cause Schaub to stop throwing interceptions.

But it's certainly cause for a temporary name change or at least a fake ID.
