Kelly Clarkson tweets first photo of daughter River Rose

'American Idol' winner Kelly Clarkson tweeted a photo of her daughter River Rose Blackstock on Friday. The portrait shows the newborn wearing a headband while sleeping in a red baby carriage.
'Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet,' Clarkson tweeted.
The 'Breakaway' singer gave birth on June 12, and also used Twitter to share the good news two days later.
'Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes!' she wrote. 'Brandon and I are on cloud 9!!'
In a November interview with Parade, Clarkson, who had only recently announced her pregnancy at the time, shared her thoughts on motherhood.
'I'm gonna rock at being a mom! I'm almost looking at it like making a record, like, 'I'm going to nail this!'' the singer said.
River Rose is Clarkson's first child; her husband Brandon Blackstock has two children from a previous marriage.
