Miley Cyrus' extended Bangerz tour will make several stops in Australia later this year. Promoters The Dainty Group announced that Cyrus will be playing five dates down under in October. According to Billboard, the Australian leg will start in Melbourne on October 10, then move through Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide and finish on October 23 in Perth.

Watch out Australia, Miley Cyrus is on her way (or she will be, in less than four months.)

There are several empty slots in the timetable, meaning that further dates might be added in the coming weeks. Tickets will go on general sale June 23, with a pre-sale through Dainty Group's official website starting June 20. Miley fans, get your cards and clicking fingers ready.

Meanwhile, Miley the person - or is it Miley the brand, it's hard to keep those two straight - made waves over the weekend by posting a topless photo. Well, sort of. Per Instagram's rules, which Scout Willis recently protested with a lone topless march, Miley is pretty covered up by her hands/phone/ a tiny red cartoon octopus. Cyrus, who also shared topless photos in January, February, April and May, covered up for a post-shower pic, appearing on a bed in a black and white net-patterned bikini.
