Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Reed gave a compelling, heartfelt acceptance speech on Saturday night, as he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. During that speech, he paid homage to his former quarterback Jim Kelly and acknowledged his courageous bout with cancer.

The speech was extremely memorable, but what happened afterward was unexpected and fantastic. After 663 receptions between the duo in Bills uniforms, Kelly threw one more to Reed in their new uniforms-their gold jackets.

Will Brinson of CBS Sports tweeted the Hall of Fame completion:

Jim Kelly to Andre Reed. Awesome. https://t.co/4rc92wzsZ7

This came as a great conclusion to the seven-time Pro-Bowler's speech in which he gave Kelly the highest-possible praise, via NFL Around the League:

Andre Reed: 'The toughest individual I've ever met in my life is Jim Kelly, #12 ... You're the reason why I'm standing here today.'

Reed added one comment, as he spoke directly to Kelly in Canton. He said, 'You know the old saying, bro-12 plus 83 always equals six.'

This reception may not have earned them six points, but it was certainly the biggest of each Hall of Famers' career.
