John Wall Cut From USA Basketball Team
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, John Wall has been cut from the USA basketball team. Wall's Washington teammate Bradley Beal and Paul Millsap have also been cut.
Wall surely wanted to make the team, but after Paul George's gruesome leg injury in Friday nights scrimmage at least the former Wildcats guard will stay healthy for next season. Wall led the Bullets to the playoffs for the first time since 2008 and has a goal of making it to the Finals next season.
He averaged 19.3 points and 8.8 assists last season, he also won the NBA's dunk contest.
DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis are still on the team. There was a rumor last week that Mason Plumlee was going to make the team over Cousins-Twitter exploded.
