Remember back in June when Victoria Beckham was 'sorting through her archive' and sharing the gems she'd found on Twitter? Well, now we know why.
The 40-year-old Spice Girl singer turned fashion designer is teaming up with Net-A-Porter.com's outlet sister site TheOutnet.com to sell over 600 items she no longer needs to raise money for women less fortunate.

'Every single piece that I have put in to be sold brought back a lot of memories,' explains Beckham in an accompanying video. 'A lot of really, really happy memories of myseld and David, of myself and the children, of different events that I've been to. A lot of these pieces have been made especially for me, by the designers; these haven't all have been bought off the shelf.'
The sale will take place from August 20-25, but prospective customers will need to sign up via the website to register for the chance to shop.

All of the proceeds will be donated to mothers2mothers, a non-profit organisation that trains, employs and empowers mothers living with HIV. 'As a woman, we have a responsibilty to help and support other women, to do what we can do to help,' says the mother of four, who has spent time visiting the mothers2mothers charity in South Africa.
Auction house Christie's has valued the clothing, and an auction featuring 10 of Beckham's most iconic pieces will also take place via sealed bids and feature the white dress by Dolce & Gabbana that she wore to the MTV Music Awards in 2003.
Beckham revealed that she thought it was 'more important' to raise money with the clothes she no longer needs than to save a vast amount of them for her little girl Harper.
Back in November 2013 the Beckhams donated a portion of their unwanted designer goods to the Red Cross Charity Shop in West London.
