SANTA CLARA - Three of the most prominent 49ers were asked Wednesday about the reports of growing dissatisfaction toward coach Jim Harbaugh in the team's locker room.

But only tight end Vernon Davis used the forum to voice support for the team's head coach.

'I heard rumors going on around here but I don't see it,' Davis said. 'He's a great guy with tons of energy. I don't think there's a better guy than him that's made for this job.'

Quarterback Colin Kaepernick was asked about Deion Sanders' contention, made as an analyst on the NFL Network, that the players want Harbaugh out.

Kaepernick was asked about the 'temperature' in the locker room.

'I'd like to know who the source is,' Kaepernick said. 'When you get a source from that, then we can talk about that. Until then, that's the media.'

And linebacker Patrick Willis declined altogether to address the situation.

'With all due respect, if it ain't about the Kansas City Chiefs, I don't want to talk about it,' Willis told reporters.
