The Wu
The Wu- Tang Clan not only announced the release date for their upcoming album 'A Better Tomorrow,' which is slated to debut on Dec. 2, but the hip-hop group also revealed that they've inked a new deal with Warner Bros.
RZA speaks out about the new album in an interview with Billboard, saying:
'It's a record to me that merges the way music was made in the classic essence, in an analog way... All the entire 10 Clan members are on it. All the [living] members, which is a beautiful thing. And the album has a small concept in a sense, musically it travels from a guy who is going through difficulties, tries to find himself, gets involved with some violence, some troubles, but then realizes that it's best sometimes to walk away from the past and all the bad times and maybe work on making his life better, and making a better tomorrow.'
There will also be a Wu-edition Boombot Rex limited-edition version of the album, which will be delivered on a portable Bluetooth speaker platform. This version will be embedded with eight songs from 'A Better Tomorrow,' two unavailable-on-album instrumentals and the exclusive song, 'Big Horn B.' It will be released in advance of the full-length release with a Black Friday debut (Nov. 28), and will reportedly only to be sold through Zumiez.com.
