Two late goals in the space of a minute handed the New York Islanders a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, who saw an eight-game winning streak come to a sudden halt.
The Blackhawks led 2-1 after Patrick Kane scored with 3:46 to go, but Kyle Okposo and Lubomir Visnovsky scored 51 seconds apart to turn the game on its head.
That means the Anaheim Ducks now own the longest active winning streak after beating the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 to make it seven in a row.
Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist while Jakob Silfverberg, Nate Thompson and Andrew Cogliano also scored.
The Columbus Blue Jackets are just behind after Cam Atkinson and Ryan Johansen scored in a shootout to secure their sixth straight win, beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3.
