NHL roundup: Ducks star Corey Perry injured in Anaheim's win

Matt Beleskey scored the tiebreaking goal midway through the third period to give the Anaheim Ducks a 5-4 victory over the Minnesota Wild Friday night at St. Paul.

Ryan Kesler had two goals, and Jakob Silfverberg and Tim Jackman also scored for the Ducks, who rallied after giving up a 3-0 lead and trailing, 4-3, early in the third period.

Mikko Koivu, Zach Parise, Jonas Brodin, and Justin Fontaine scored for the Wild.

Fontaine gave Minnesota its first lead of the game at 2:07 of the third with his second goal of the season, but Jackman tied it 90 seconds later.

Beleskey regained the lead for the Ducks at 8:28 with his 13th of the season.

Anaheim lost forward Corey Perry midway through the first after a hit from Minnesota defenseman Keith Ballard. Perry had to be helped off the ice by a trainer and couldn't put weight on his left leg.

Ballard dipped low to check Perry near the boards, flipping the Ducks' leading goal scorer in the air before he landed hard on the ice. No penalty was called, but Ballard and Nate Thompson fought two minutes later.

Kuemper, who gave up five goals on 18 shots, was replaced by Niklas Backstrom after Beleskey's score. Kuemper has allowed at least four goals in three of his last four starts.

Ryan Suter, Minnesota's top defensemen, missed his second straight game with the mumps. Suter is the fifth Wild defender to miss time with the mumps.

Blackhawks 4, Canadiens 3 - Brandon Saad scored with 27 seconds left in the third as surging Chicago beat visiting Montreal for its fifth straight victory.

Saad snapped a shot past Corey Price from the low edge of the right circle for the winner. Patrick Kane shot from the top of the slot and Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov couldn't handle the puck.

Chicago's Jonathan Toews scored a power-play goal early in the third to tie it at 3. Michal Rozsival and Ben Smith connected at even strength as the Blackhawks won for the eighth time in nine games.

Montreal's Brendan Gallagher scored and set up 40-year-old Sergei Gonchar's first goal in nearly a year. P.K. Subban added a power-play goal for the Canadiens, who have lost two straight and are 1-4-1 in their last six.

Jets 6, Avalanche 2 - Bryan Little scored three goals, two 32 seconds apart in the second period, and added an assist for host Winnipeg, which is 4-0-1 in its past five games.

Little's hat trick was the first for the franchise since Eric Boulton had three goals for the Atlanta Thrashers Dec. 18, 2010.

Chris Thorburn had his first goal of the season, Andrew Ladd had a goal and an assist, and Dustin Byfuglien also scored for the Jets.

Blake Wheeler assisted on all three of Little's goals. Jarome Iginla scored both goals for the Avalanche and Gabriel Landeskog had two assists.
