Flip Saunders returning as Minnesota Timberwolves coach
After interviewing a number of candidates, Minnesota Timberwolves president and part-owner Flip Saunders has decided to coach the team himself, he confirmed to ESPN.com.
Saunders will start his second stint as coach of the Timberwolves, as he won 411 games in 10 1/2 seasons in the heyday of Kevin Garnett from 1995-2005. He guided the Wolves to the Western Conference Finals in 2004.
