Spurs dominate Heat at half in Game 4 of NBA Finals
The San Antonio Spurs dominated the Miami Heat at halftime of Game 4 of the NBA Finals at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
Chris Bosh was the star of the first quarter for the Heat. Bosh, who only had nine points in the Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs, had six points in the first quarter.
He scored the first basket of the game, but Tim Duncan took charge to help lift San Antonio to a 26-17 lead at the end of the first quarter.
SECOND QUARTER
The Spurs dominated Miami in the second quarter en route to a 19-point halftime lead.
Heat star LeBron James was the leading scorer with just nine points, while Miami's Dwyane Wade was held to four points. After Bosh's great start, he went cold, ending the half with just eight points.
San Antonio handed the Heat their first playoff loss at home Tuesday night, but Miami hasn't lost consecutive postseason games since 2012.
Miami has a tall task ahead of it, however, as the Spurs hold a 55-36 lead at halftime.
The Spurs lead the series 2-1. A victory would put them in position to dethrone the Heat in San Antonio this weekend.
