Chris Brown and Ariana Grande, star-crossed lovers?
The two play a fairy-tale couple in the clip for the R&B star's new single, 'Don't Be Gone Too Long,' released Friday.
Their happily ever after is interrupted when Grande is kidnapped by an evil king and Brown is imprisoned.
True love seems to win out by the end, with the lovebirds reunited after Brown breaks free and rescues Grande. But the video ends on a cliffhanger, with the knight discovering the two together.
The 'Forever' singer tweeted a link to the clip on Friday, and also noted that he directed the clip.
'(I) wanted to do something different,' he wrote.
'Don't Be Gone Too Long' is one of the songs featured on Brown's upcoming album 'X', which drops Sept. 16.
