Texans' Arian Foster to play vs. Bills

By Tania Ganguli | ESPN.com

HOUSTON -- The Texans plan to play Arian Foster, who was limited in practice last week with a hamstring injury, against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, according to a source.

Foster's workload will depend on how his hamstring holds up, the source said.

Foster did not play last weekend against the New York Giants after being limited in practice all week.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Friday that Foster practiced similarly to how he practiced the week leading up to the game against the Giants. He added that Foster would be worked out before Sunday's game at NRG Stadium to determine his status.

Foster rushed 55 times for 241 yards in the first two weeks of the season. The Texans won both games, against Washington and Oakland.

In his absence against the Giants, rookie sixth-round pick Alfred Blue started at running back. He gained 78 yards on 13 carries.
