Hundreds of family and friends of Robin Williams gathered for an emotional and star-studded celebration of his life in San Francisco on Saturday, six weeks after the beloved comedian took his own life.

Billy Crystal, Bonnie Hunt and Whoopi Goldberg spoke during the service at the landmark Curran Theatre, as did Williams' wife, Susan Schneider, 50, and his kids Zak, 31, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22, a source close to the actor told the Daily News.

Mourners including Williams' 'Mork & Mindy' co-star Pam Dawber, cyclist Lance Armstrong, director George Lucas and actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman gathered and heard a musical tribute from Stevie Wonder with the Glide Memorial choir.

Seth Green, Eddie Izzard, Penny Marshall, Bette Midler, Joel McHale, Jeff Bridges, Josh Groban, Marlo Thomas and Ben Stiller also turned out to honor the comedic genius.

A reception followed at the Westin St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco, the source said.

Williams died Aug. 11 at age 63 in a death quickly ruled a suicide by hanging.

His grieving widow later revealed the legendary comedian had been struggling with deep depression, anxiety and a secret diagnosis of Parkinson's.

He was cremated after an autopsy, and a death certificate obtained by the Daily News said his family planned to scatter his ashes in San Francisco Bay off the coast of Marin County.

As The News first reported, the decision had a poignant personal history for the family since Williams' beloved mom also was cremated and 'scattered at sea' off Marin County, according to her death certificate.

After Williams' death, his daughter Zelda said 'the world is forever a little darker, less colorful and less full of laughter in his absence.'
