At 16, Cole Custer made history Saturday. Custer became the youngest winner in a NASCAR national series race this weekend when he won the UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

'This is a pretty special race for our team,' Custer said, according to the Associated Press. 'I just love this track. The fans are awesome. It was always one of my favorite tracks growing up. I can't believe I get to come here and go to Victory Lane.'

Custer earned the pole position, but he lost the top spot late in the race. He was, however, able to eventually come back and win.

'I was really worried,' Custer said. 'It was hard to pass. I couldn't believe we got through all those guys. We had some great restarts. I can't believe this has happened right now.'
