NFL players vote to approve new drug policy
The NFL Players Association's board of representatives unanimously approved a term sheet on a new comprehensive drug policy Friday night.
That clears the way to test for human growth hormone this season and the reevaluation of discipline for numerous suspended players, including Cleveland Browns all-pro receiver Josh Gordon and Denver Broncos receiver Wes Welker.
The term sheet now will go back to NFL and union lawyers for final approval.
