UCF steals American Conference title from on game

East Carolina just needed to last four more seconds against UCF to ruin the Knights' hopes of a share in the American Conference title. UCF quarterback threw a 51-yard prayer into triple coverage as time expired and somehow, against all reason, the ball landed in the arms of Breshad Perriman in the end zone.

Let's not take away anything from the play, it was an amazing catch.

But the East Carolina secondary looked like a clown show. Perriman had no chance at this pass against three defenders. There simply isn't any scenario where that ball ends up in anyone's hands not wearing black.

And yet, here we are. What a crazy game of football.
