'America's Got Talent' crowns a new champ
Six acts went into Wednesday's America's Got Talent finale vying to win the $1 million prize.
Singers Quintavious Johnson, Emily West and Miguel Dakota, musical group Sons of Serendip, acrobatic troupe AcroArmy, and magician Mat Franco -- all had a shot at the title and the money.
And who emerged victorious?
Mat Franco, 25, a magician from Rhode Island.
His reaction? 'Un-freakin-believable!'
During the finale broadcast, Franco performed a card trick with judge Howard Stern and guest Rosie O'Donnell. He gave each of them 10 cards, which they hid in their clothing. Somehow he moved three of O'Donnell's cards to Stern's stack of cards. All season long Franco had been particularly championed by judge Mel B.

Franco beat out runner-up Emily West, a Stern favorite. The singer/songwriter, 33, who moved from Iowa to Nashville at age 18 to pursue her dream, thanked the show, the fans and congratulated Franco.
One bittersweet moment came when crowd favorite Quintavious Johnson, 12, was sent packing. There were boos in the audience when the news was announced. 'Those boos are because they're upset,' said host Nick Cannon, urging the crowd to cheer the young singer.
With a beaming smile, Johnson said, 'Being on this show has meant the world to me! I'm so excited I got to do this. How many can say they got to the Top Six?'
Judge Heidi Klum said she was 'shocked' and told the singer that the show was just the 'first stepping stone' on his way to stardom.
