Gravity / Warner Bros.

Gravity continues to achieve orbit in Hollywood, capturing top honors for trailer of the year.

The ad for the sci-fi spectacle won Friday night's Golden Trailer Award, which has been honoring the industry's best coming attractions since 1999. The Sandra Bullock-George Clooney drama took the Best of Show award, the night's biggest honor. The trailer, entitled 'Detached' and featuring a panicked Sandra Bullock drifting into space, also won as best coming attraction for a thriller.

Among Friday's 75 winners:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire won for best action trailer, while Frozen captured top honors as best trailer for an animated or family film. The Conjuring won best horror trailer and Dallas Buyers Club scored as best trailer to an independent film.

The awards, for trailers created from March 8, 2013 to April 11, 2014, also recognized movies just released. Maleficent, the Angelina Jolie fairy tale that opened this weekend, won for best fantasy adventure, while Godzilla took best summer blockbuster trailer.

Warner Bros., which released Gravity and Godzilla, took home the most awards of the evening with 15, while Universal claimed nine awards and Lionsgate eight. Jay Mohr hosted the event.
